Municipality of San Juan Southern Leyte

San Juan, formerly known as Cabalian, is a municipality in Southern Leyte, Philippines, comprising 18 barangays. As of the 2020 Census, it has a population of 14,912 people. The municipality covers a land area of 96.12 square kilometers. In the 2022 elections, San Juan had 10,246 registered voters. The town celebrates its rich Catholic heritage every 24th day of June, the Solemnity of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist.
The municipality is located in the Southeastern part of Leyte Island and the Eastern coast of the Province of Southern Leyte, facing the Surigao Strait. . They celebrated their fiesta with a Wet and Wild theme. And the current Mayor is Hon. Reynaldo D. Saludo
